Atlus have three things going for it.
- They have a stock of RPGs that make me want to cry with the amount of time it will take for me to complete them all. (The Persona Series, Izuna 2 etc)
- They created/developed the Trauma Center series (UTF, UTF2, SO and NB), which still stands in my mind as one of the most original new IPs to grace the Nintendo platforms.
- They have a kickass PR department.

For those that were affected by the site downtime over the last couple of days, I apologise. Hostnine, my site host (and I thoroughly recommend them; live support was what stopped me from getting too aggravated) was the victim of a small attack. They took care of it, and my site was back online within an hour of me reporting that it was affected.
Mirror’s Edge has been getting flak recently because of it’s lack of lengthy gameplay, and the fact that it has no real multiplayer. Now while I can understand the latter being a bone of contention with a lot of gamers (myself included; I only rented it, to make sure that I had made the right choice), there is a multiplayer of sorts; it’s just not as interactive with other players as the typical multiplayer is. However, now that I’ve played Mirror’s Edge from start to finish (on Normal, although I have a few days to try hard if I really want to), I can say that the game is short for all the right reasons.
