Don't forget to turn your clocks forward, UKers. Farmers need that hour, y'know.

I really wanted to get this down earlier, but Torchlight called.

Yes, I bought Torchlight. As much as I’m against digital distribution for my games, I couldn’t resist when it came up at £3.75. It was either that or pay £18 for a disc. I’ll admit it; I pirated the game before, in order to test it on my system because Steam was playing up in the beta UI. But after finding out how to downgrade out of the new UI I can use the Steam system again. I still like having discs, but when games are that cheap I can’t really turn it down.

Also, another good point; I finally figured out how to add old podcast episodes to iTunes’ Podcast section when they weren’t in the feed. I’ll write down what I did for tomorrow. It wasn’t something that was pivoting on my usage of my iPod or something, but it was a niggle that a compilation episode was excluded from a podcast feed.

Not looking forward to tomorrow, to be honest. The clocks are going forward, which means I lose an hour of sleep. Not like people who complain about losing an hour of sleep, but then sleeping in for two hours to make up for it. I genuinely lose an hour of sleep because of daylight fucking savings time. Why the hell do we have it? Farmers have discovered electricity and -oh my god- battery-operated torches. Seriously, it needs to stop. But not only that, my shift has been extended. So now it’s an eight hour shift instead of the usual. And where is the boss who’s usually doing this shift? Oh, he’s on holiday. And I’m working with no second cashier/stocker thanks to nobody bothering to help, or nobody bothering to seek out cover instead of screwing me over. It’s fucked up.

Yeah, I’m not looking forward to tomorrow. Bring it on; sooner it gets started the sooner it’s over.

Flailing will only subdue my rage so much.

Lol, my hit-counts have dropped considerably recently. No reason to say that other than just to put it out there for shits and giggles.

Had a massive headache today from work. At least, I think it was from work. The heating was on pretty high, to the point where I had to open both the main doors to try and cool things down. And of course, when I started walking home it started raining heavily. And the irony; when I walked into the conservatory, soaked to the bone in trousers that are still drying on the radiator, it brightened up as if on cue, and someone upstairs has it in for me. Really not a good day today, and I ended up taking it out on someone who could’ve helped but chose not to, subconsciously or otherwise. So I was a little short-tempered, and I had a headache that just wouldn’t calm down even after taking some paracetamol for it. Had to cancel my driving lesson because of it, and I don’t think he was very pleased. I wish I would’ve had a choice but I’m not going to put myself in a car when I’m not entirely sure I can stay in full control of it for a full hour.

Got tomorrow off, and then the clocks go forward. This means that when I go into work, I will effectively be going in an hour early, and staying two hours after my shift is over. Now if that isn’t inconsiderate as all fuck from my boss I don’t know what is. Oh wait, my boss has that day off, so someone else has to come in and do his shift for him! Like I said, inconsiderate as all fuck, especially since I only knew about it on Wednesday thanks to nobody letting people know that they have extra obligations that they have automatically been put forward for. Seriously, somebody is going to snap at work soon, and it’s not going to be pretty. ‘Reasonable Flexibility’ my arse. It’s not reasonable to ask me twice within the hour whether I can do overtime on two separate occasions or not, when there’s people who arrive late consistently and get paid for it. Or people who only work eight hour weeks and refuse to do more despite this ‘Reasonable Flexibility’ clause in all our contracts.

Eh. Not a good day today.

Arieluma, Friend.

I almost forgot to write one of these today. No reason for it really; I just had a lazy day. Yes, I know I have lazy days most days, but you know.

Feckers. D<!

Started playing Aion again in lieu of patches 1.9 and 2.0. There’s a double EXP Weekend so I’ll be trying to play as much as I can. Working Sunday though… Ugh. And the clocks go forward so I lose an hour of sleep. At least Redh brought me back into the fold pretty quickly. I’m worried that I haven’t seen a lot of the old crew yet though. Even though it’s only been a night, you sort of expect to see everyone online on your first day back so you can at least say ‘hi’ or something. It’s a shame things aren’t the way they were when I left Aion. But things change, and they’ll keep changing.

I think I’m done with Mass Effect 2′s storyline. At least, for now. I’ve played it seven times over, racked up over 100 hours of time on it at least… *runs to check Raptr* 122 hours to be precise. I’ll be breaking it open for the DLC of course; I’m a Mass Effect fan after all. I have still to read both the novels.

Short one. Work in the morning. Toodles.
