Barratiel Pyraxtallinost is the young upstart that everyone hates; the arrogance of an aristocrat coupled with the entitlement of a rare bloodline and a father’s inheritance that he believes is his by rights as opposed to by deeds. Starting out with power in his blood, he is further enhanced by the visions of a deity that blessed him with the ability to heal.
I wanted to play a Sorcerer after I had another person in my first resurgent campaign play one. Bards were my style, but Sorcerers seemed to be a bit more flexible. I wanted a religious overtone, but one that was a coming-of-age story as well. Thus, Barry was born, and I’m still surprised that nobody has used that name yet.
